MODELS WE BUILT FOR THE MUSEUM OF AUSTRALIA SAILING

I thought it was about time I showed you some of the models that we built in 2011 for Rolly Tasker's Museum of Australian Sailing in Mandura, West Australia .

Rolly originally started a model representation of yachts that have competed in the America's Cup series from inception to the year Australia 2 took the Cup from America for the first time.

One of the problems in building exact scale replicas of bygone yachts is that in many cases it is difficult, if not impossible to find a

accurate plans. Therefore, often one has to find a full size boat somewhere, measure it and produce drawings in house before starting the models.

I can build any of these popular designs to order as we now of course have model making plans.
